Desert Flower Ladies Day
Saturday, October 14th, 2023.
Silly boys, guns are for girls too! However, we have our own style, our own technique, and our own challenges different from the men. What better way to succeed in our sport and get full enjoyment than to share our experiences with like women! Rio’s Desert Flower is designed to do just that! Let’s learn from each other, shoot together, and have a great time!
Our Desert Flower Ladies Day is an annual event which includes an introductory lecture on safety, gun nomenclature, and basic technique before heading out to the range for some live fire with our awesome lady volunteers/instructors to help you! Pistol
Our Ladies pistol group is currently the largest of all the disciplines. We can offer guidance to the most inexperienced/never touched a pistol lady to “I’m ready to compete or train for the zombie apocalypse” lady! We hold monthly practice matches/sessions by invitation only. You will have to have taken a gun safety class and at least be comfortable with the basics. This is more of a practice than a class. Shotgun
Help us build our Ladies shotgun community! We are looking for ladies to help put together events, training, and socials, whatever you would like to have at Rio. We have tactical shotgun also! Bring your skills and/or just ideas!
Rifle
Help us build our Ladies rifle community! We are looking for ladies to help put together events, training, and socials, whatever you would like to have at Rio. Small Bore, High Power, Tactical PCC, bring your skills and/or just ideas! Together we can create it!
